I know I am doing a great job when my client can so accurately tell others what I do really well..

My first online courses took me weeks to write, weeks to record and weeks to edit and upload. I was so focused on the quality of the production that everything took so long to do. Green screens, text overlays, images fading in and out... clever captions... But after months of getting really great feedback from people, no one ever mentioned the quality of the production... they always focused on how the courses had changed their lives, or given them the skills to get going. It was always the results that mattered.

A coaches role varies from client to client. Sometimes it requires opening up a new strategy to move forward. Sometimes it requires lighting the fire of drive and motivation. Sometimes it requires looking at the detail to see what is missed. Sometimes it requires looking back to remind how far we have come. And knowing what is required and at what time, is what differentiates a great coach from just a good one.

The question: "What do you want to do as a career" keeps you focused on the skills you need to still learn. The question: "What lifestyle do you wish to create" makes sure you create the strategies that RESULT in you living the life you love to live. Transformational coaching is getting you to answer the right question, opposed to just getting you to answer the wrong one correctly.

A bucket list item of being invited to walk the Leopard Trail Hike with the editors of South Africa's best adventure publication, the Getaway Magazine. It was a great opportunity to understand the background workings of major publications, and the importance of using magazines as branding strategies for entrepreneurs. The hike was 4 days of wilderness walking through mountains and rivers. Some people do business on the golf course.... Others on dive boats with whale sharks, Others on the mountain and around camp fires.

The smile of coaching paying for itself over and over again. At first he said coaching is expensive... but in just after 5 sessions he closed a corporate business contract that brings him 8 times the profit than the cost of his coaching package! We are both smiling!

"The best time to have planted a tree is 50 years ago. The next best time is now!" And the saying applies to property investing as well! The red arrow in this picture points to me standing tall (with my arms up) under a giant redwood tree in California. Property Investors understand that wealth grows over time, and is exponential in their returns.

When I look at this picture, my heart beats faster and my business motivation goes through the roof! One model of successful entrepreneurship is to find an existing demand for a service, and then provide a viable solution for it. What I see here are opportunities: 1) Kite board repair shop 2) Injury insurance for kiteboarding accidents 3) Energy drinks ready on the beach 4) Car shuttle for downwinder 5) Hat and sunscreen beach sales and of course ACCOMODATION!

Everyone carries on learning through life. But the successful people seek it out consciously, and consistently. Every opportunity becomes a learning experience. The learning transforms into application. The application into results. This group of adult learners have CHOSEN to learn real estate investing strategies to increase income and create passive wealth. Their choices will create results which take them closer to the life they love to live.

When we work FOR our business, we begin to only see our actions related to growing the business, and ensuring the success of our business (and often at the cost of our own well being and life's passion). When you get your business to work for YOU, then although you are still in action of growing it and making it successful, it's all done to ensure you create the life you love to live. You become focused on what's really important (and not just urgent things). You create efficiencies opposed to settling for average. You create possibilities opposed to only choosing opportunities.

Most real estate investors only LOOK for good deals. But the successful investors understand that good deals are CREATED. Eyes light up, uncertainty become grins of excitement, and the concept of wealth creation shifts from being just a dream to a TODAY reality. Something I learnt a long time is that SHOWING someone how something can be done is much more powerful than just TELLING them so. - Proof is the antidote to uncertainty and fear. - Experience of the possible redefines what you thought was impossible. - excitement is the catalyst for taking action

A team effort for me and my coaching students as we work together to find solutions to keep us all safe. Guidelines for keeping safe and virus free within the house. Guidelines for leaving the house to go into public spaces. Guidelines for returning to the house and cleaning before entering. Guidelines for suspecting that a house mate may have the virus. Guidelines for a housemate who has the virus.

Spent the day with my coaching student (and award winning property agent, Dietmar Müller) as we expanded our searches for 20 unit complexes and apartment blocks. I am continuously reminded that real value is CREATED... opposed to being found. And the same with property. Wealth comes through adding VALUE opposed to just buying an existing investor's property and running it the same way

Leadership and the empowerment of people runs in my family's blood. And with many of my coaching students living in Durban, it feels great to be supporting them in creating the lives they love to live.

Since this property training in May, 𝘀𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻 of this bunch have 'bought' FREE properties as a result of implementing the strategies I gave them, with one of them gaining an entry into the 𝗜𝗻𝘃𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗬𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝗮𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱! It's incredibly fulfilling to see my students create success and to see them on their journey to reach their goals.

"A power station building?...Come.... I'll take you along with me!" What do you do with a massive decommissioned power station building that is the city's iconic landmark? Well the first thing I did was invite some of my other coaching students to come along and be part of the experience. It was great spending the whole day with some of my students as we looked at properties, revised strategy plans, and most importantly, got them to expand their horizons of what it means to be a professional property investor.

Expanding into Asia - I am grateful to have been featured in Parent's Guide Asia magazine for my work in supporting parents in nurturing their children as entrepreneurs. Entrepreneurship is not just a career pathway - its about solving problems, working in teams, overcoming immense challenges and knowing how to bring the best out of yourself, and in your team. And the role of parenting directly impacts your child's attitude, their self discipline, and then their future love of business and life. It's quite something to consider that your child's future business success lies within how you parent them.

The real trick to creating systems in your business is to make sure they add even more value to your clients. Even though I have been traveling to many different amazing places this year (over 130 days out of the country so far), I have increased my number of clients to now having a waiting list all while they will all say that the systems I have put in place to support them more has made a huge impact. This means that more business owners are increasing their revenue, increasing their property portfolios and spending more time on the things they love to do.

Feeling really inspired to be working with my students who take on HUGE projects and that solve a problem our cities and country are facing. At this level, it's not about quick solutions and template turnovers... my role as his coach is to keep him on track, keep him focused and keep him accountable for the strategy we developed. With these projects ranging between 2 - 5 years, it's about consistent implementation and persistence.

It was only when I began to run my own Property Training events did I realise what it takes to fill a big room. Passion, utter commitment, persistence in driving the marketing, and to SHOW up strong for the crowd. So I am really grateful to have been invited on a three city tour to share my journey and inspire other entrepreneurs for them to create the lives they love to live.

You don’t have to own a SINGLE property to make money from property. And you don’t have to have a 4 year degree to figure it out either. I love showing my clients how they can use Airbnb to generate incredible cash flow, even without having to own the property in the first place. It’s just a mindset shift. We call it the rent to rent model. You rent the right property, and then use it for Airbnb and the income covers all the rent, expenses and leaves you a tidy cash flow profit. As one of my clients says, “it’s incredible, it’s like making money out of nothing. “

This smile is not just because I get to travel and have amazing experiences, but because I also get to help other people do the same for themselves. Just this last week, (while I was in Mozambique), I helped three of my South African students either close or secure on incredible rental properties (where their income covers ALL of the expenses which = FREE!) My role is not to be a consultant who gives you advice on one deal or on one business situation. My role is to make sure you gather the skills and insights such that you wont have to ask that question again.

Strategic Branding changes the game, and whether you use it or not, it is impacting your business more than you think. I used to think that branding was just for the already successful... I used to think that only the Rich and Famous used it. I used to think I could thrive by telling myself I didn't need it. And Francie Baldwin and JT Foxx are masters in this arena, both in the field of teaching it, and in providing incredible opportunities for you to access it. All these strategies I learnt from them and so can you too. 1) Celebrity branding gives you an incredible edge over your competitors (ie photos with famous people). 2) Results branding shows people that you get results in what you do (testimonials from your clients) 3) Credibility branding (shows you actually have credibility and are not just a fancy website, ie magazine articles) 4) International Branding (you are recognized or do business intentionally)

I believe the purpose of a great coach is not to show you how little you know and how much you need them, but to show you that you have what it takes to achieve whatever goal you create. Then learning the necessary skills to get you there is much easier. Together, you create a step by step strategy that unlocks your deep desire to improve on your situation, and gets you on track to creating the life that you love to live.

When Randy Zuckerberg came to South Africa a few years back, I got to ask her how she defined success, and most importantly, how she keeps generating success after success. She talks about how she pushes her own limits. She says it’s a great thing to feel the wobbly knees and still take action. If you are not feeling uncomfortable, then it may mean you are not putting yourself out there enough! The trick seems to be not in gong so uncomfortable that you are overwhelmed. It's about going 20% out of your comfort zone so your awareness is heightened and your focus sharp. Then growth happens and new opportunities open up.

The more I travel globally, the more I feel a global citizen with responsibilities on a global scale. When I see the plastic waste in the ocean in Bali, I increase my efforts to radically scale down my plastic use in South Africa. As I travel further into Africa today, I again feel that drive to help others to feel empowered and be in action or what they desire, whether through property investing or accelerated business coaching. Making a difference matters.
